Build a villa on St Barts in tropical hardwood

The company started in 1990, specializing in the manufacture of buildings, villas, restaurants and pontoons.

First we review the plans from the client’s architect; our team then fully evaluates the design and considers which would be the best type of wood for the project; then we draw up the shipping details; and finally give the client a detailed estimate.

The concept of a pre-fabricated hardwood villa brings significant benefits - particularly in tropical and subtropical environments. Wakaloka villas are built in Indonesia under the direction of European-trained specialists.

Indonesia is a country rich in craftsmanship and has a skilled workforce, which enables us to produce villas which can be transported anywhere in the world.

We build using wood-on-wood joints wherever possible, avoiding metal nuts and bolts - which are likely to corrode over time. The importance of sourcing from Indonesian allows us to choose wood which is resistant to insects and fungi.
